Golf is going through an extraordinary boom in the UAE, the GCC States and all over the Middle East. Rarely a week goes past without an announcement of an exciting new golf course development, usually with a global superstar like Greg Norman, Ernie Els or Nick Faldo involved in the design.
Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Qatar all stage tournaments of international standing.
All the greats have played in the Gulf including the hall-of-famers Tiger Woods and Annika Sorenstam.
Total Golf magazine was launched at the outset of the 2006 golfing season – with the mercurial Tiger on the cover. Total Golf is a direct spin-off from Total Sport, the region’s top sporting publication.
Total Golf is published monthly. It carries international players profiles, tour news, great courses, tips to improve any level of player, local club digests, ratings of courses in the Middle East and stunning photos. |
